Project Team
Professor Robyn Owen (Project Director, CEEDR & GreenFin Research, Middlesex University)
Professor Robyn Owen leads the NERC-funded SME Nature Positive Finance project (2022-26) and brings a wealth of expertise in sustainable business development and green finance. She has served in advisory roles for Innovate UK and the London Councils' Green Economy Programme. Robyn oversees CEEDR's contribution to the Mapper, ensuring its alignment with nature-positive investment frameworks.
Dr Amy Burnett (Senior Researcher, CEEDR)
Dr Amy Burnett specializes in SME sustainability and toolkit development, with extensive experience aligning business practices with the TNFD and LEAP frameworks. In this project, Amy focuses on biodiversity measurement methodologies and data collection to strengthen the Mapper's actionable outputs.
Dougal Fleming (Practitioner Researcher, CEEDR)
Dougal Fleming, formerly a green innovation advisor at the University of Brighton, brings hands-on expertise in SME engagement. Dougal leads workshops and engagement activities, leveraging his practical experience to foster nature-positive practices among businesses.
Dr Tom Breeze (Expert Advisor, University of Reading)
Dr Tom Breeze brings specialist expertise in ecological services impact measurement frameworks. His insights help ensure the Mapper effectively captures and evaluates organizations' interactions with natural systems.
Ollie Bream McIntosh (Academic Consultant)
